The following are the long term menu options implemented between February 1, 2007 and January 31, 2008, including a brief description of each:

Career Fair
NYSBA Internet Career Fair – This career fair was sponsored by the NYSBA via the Internet from March 19 - 25, 2007. All stations who are members of the NYSBA post open positions on the NYSBA website for a period of one week. Applicants posted their resumes, and applied for jobs which were posted in our “booth”. In addition, the NYSBA shared all resumes that were posted in our region after the event took place. The career fair was promoted on each station for a two week period.

Syracuse University Career/Internship Fair – This career fair was sponsored by S.I. Newhouse of Public Communications on November 9, 2007. Our Executive Producer attended the Career/Internship Fair. Approximately 300 students attended to learn about careers in broadcasting and what type of internships our station offers.

College Internship Program
This is a non-paid internship program open to college juniors, seniors or grad students. Students earn college credit for their participation in our program. We offer internships three times a year (Spring, Summer and Fall). Internships are available in the following Departments: Internet Journalism, News, Photojournalism, Promotion/Production, Sales, Sports and Weather. The program is designed for students interested in gaining exposure and experience in the broadcast industry.

Participate in an Event Sponsored by an Educational Institution
In October 2007, our Executive Vice President lectured to and recruited to a Broadcasting class at Ithaca College. Approximately 40 students attended the lecture.
