Jon Dougherty joined the CBS 5 news in January of 2007. In his time here he has covered everything from the Turning Stone Resort Golf Championship, to the Spitzer Scandal in Albany.

Jon graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Communications with a concentration in Television/Radio from LeMoyne College in 2007.

Jon is no stranger to CBS 5. He interned at our station under Sports Director Kevin Maher.

Jon was born and raised in Western Massachusetts and still holds home close to his heart. When he is out of work, you’ll most likely find Jon anywhere he can catch the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots games.

Jon came to Syracuse for college, and the people of Syracuse have helped make this a home for him. He looks forward to continuing to bring you the news that matters most.
