Chuck Plumpton

Chuck Plumpton is the weekend anchor for CBS News 5 at 6:00 pm and 11:00 pm and reports for CBS 5 during the week. Chuck began his broadcasting career in his hometown of Watertown, New York. He was a reporter and anchor at Channel 7 before moving to Channel 50 as the news director. Chuck also worked in the U.S. Congress as press secretary to two New York representatives in the 1990’s. He and his wife Jackie live in Fayetteville; they have three daughters.
