Police: Geddes Crash Involves 15 Year Old Driver

By Michael Benny

The crash Monday evening on State Fair Boulevard involved two vehicles, one of them police say was driven by a 15 year old who took the family vehicle without permission, and without a license.

Police say the teens 7-year-old brother was in the car with him at the time of the crash and it took 20 minutes to take him out of the car using the jaws of life. He is listed in serious condition right now.

A 22 year old man and a 21 year old woman were in the other car and they were treated for minor injuries.

Police say they don't know why the teen was driving the car, and they have not charged him yet. Geddes Police continue to investigate.
