SYRACUSE, N.Y. (AP) - A Syracuse man is accused of attack
another man while they were being held in the same jail cell. The
Onondaga County Sheriff's Department says Vernon Hauswirth II and
Quientin Johnson Junior were sharing a holding a cell at the
Justice Center when Johnson attacked Hauswirth as he was sleeping
on the cell floor. Hauswirth was treated at a hospital and later
released back into custody. Both men were being held on robbery
charges when the attack occurred.
