Man Shot to Death

A man was shot to death while sitting on a porch at a home on Shonnard St in Syracuse early Sunday morning. The victim is 30 year old Giovanni Pinet-Arce of S Wilbur St. The shooting took place shortly before 3 am. Pinet-Arce was pronounced dead at the scene. Syracuse Police do not have any suspects at this time, although, they say the victim knew his killer. It's the city's 8th homicide of the year.
