James Carville: Obama Will Win in a Landslide

James Carville: Obama Will Win in a Landslide

By Jon Dougherty

James Carville is best known for being President Bill Clinton's campaign manger in the 1990's. There's no denying he's partisan, and he's not shy at all. In an interview with the Syracuse media, Carville, nicknamed "The Mouth of the South", and "The Raging Cajun", said the 2008 election was over before it started. Indicating his political companions, including republicans, say this election is not close at all. Carville blames John McCain's relaxed approach. He says McCain has no central case, and spends his time attacking Barack Obama.

Carville would much rather see Hillary Clinton in office. He was her campaign manager for the presidential run earlier this year. Carville thinks Obama's chances are much greater now that McCain announced Sarah Palin as his running mate. Saying he doesn’t think it was a smart choice.
