Cables For A Cure

Cables For A Cure

By Keith Kobland

A North Syracuse company is doing it's part to raise money and awareness for breast cancer research. CX Tec sells computer networking equipment, and for every computer cable they sell this month, which is breast cancer awareness month, they'll donate money to the American Cancer Society. Worker Amy Shaffer is taking part. She is a breast cancer survivor, and has helped the company raise $65,000 for the cause so far. If you'd like to help out, you can purchase a pink cable ribbon, with the proceeds going to cancer research, in finding a cure for a disease that affects 250,000 women in America each year.
