Weather was an obvious factor in a Thanksgiving Day accident. A Jordan man remains in critical condition Friday night after colliding head-on with a minivan. Police say 19-year old Jesse Peacemaker was driving on Route 5 in Elbridge around 10 pm Thursday night when he hit a patch of ice, slid into oncoming traffic, and broadsided a minivan. Two passengers in the van walked away with minor injuries but Peacemaker wasn't so lucky. Rescue crews need the jaws of life to pry him from the twisted wreckage of his Chevrolet Cavalier. He was transported to the hospital with serious internal injuries.
