Fire Claims 3 Lives in Eastwood

Friends and neighbors gathered tonight to remember Lisa Epolito and her two children Joseph and Julia Sgori.

Friends of Joe remember him as playful and energetic. A kid they always loved to be around.

On Wednesday morning, flames tore through the home in Eastwood. Joey died at University Hospital, shortly after being pulled from the house. Later that evening, his mother and sister passed away from their injuries.

Wednesday night community members came out for the family they knew so well. They held a candle light vigil and together they prayed. Mike Sutton moved in across the street a few months ago. He said it's tragedies like this that make a community so close.

Sean Chentney, 30, and Mia Sgroi, 11, were also in the house at the time of the fire, They were not injured.
