Syracuse Apartment Fire
A three story apartment building on Park Avenue in Syracuse was engulfed in flames Tuesday night. The fire broke out at 10pm at the building at 826 Park Avenue. Firefighters had to be pulled out of the building because it was considered unsafe to continue fighting from the inside. Dozens of firefighters fought the flames for hours. At this point there are no reports of injuries and the building is believed to be vacant. The fire was initially at risk of spreading to neighboring houses but has not spread past the vacant building.
