Teens Shot Sitting in Car
Two teenagers were taken to the hospital after being shot while sitting in a car on Fayette and Beech Street in Syracuse. Witnesses say someone walked up to the car and shot at it, hitting both the driver and the passenger. Terrance Barner, 18, was shot once in the neck. Shakela Freeman, 17, was shot once in the back. Both were taken to the hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police say the suspect fled on foot. They have not made any arrests and say the victims are being uncooperative.
