Pepper Spray Used on Former Student

A former North Syracuse School District student who tried to get into CNS High School Wednesday morning became unruly and a resource officers had to use pepper spray to subdue him. The Onondaga County Sheriff's Department says the former student tried to get into the building and when he was asked to go the Principal's office he became combative.

Wendell Dorough, 17, of Liverpool was sprayed in the face with the pepper spray. An ambulance was called to the scene and Dorough was treated for exposure.

He is at the justice center and charged with disorderly conduct. No other students were involved in this incident.
