Onondaga County Executive Elect Joanie Mahoney announced the leaders of her transition team live on CBS 5 at 5:30. During her interview with CBS 5's Michael Benny, Mahoney named Onondaga County Executive Nick Pirro, and former Syracuse Mayor Tom Young as the honorary chairmen of her transition. Mahoney won the job on election night in a landslide victory over Democrat Bill Magnarelli.
