Chiefs Avoid Series Sweep Against Indy

The Chiefs beat Indianapolis 6-1 on Thursday to avoid a 4-game sweep at Alliance Bank Stadium. The Chiefs scored only 7 runs in the first three games. In the finale, they scored six runs in the first two innings on nine hits. All of them came of former Chiefs Ty Taubenheim, who lasted only two innings. Adam Lind was 4-3 with a 3-run homer for Syracuse.
