Chiefs Stretch Winning Streak To Six

Kane Davis mastered the mound on Sunday, leading the Chiefs to a 2-1 win over Lehigh Valley for their 6th straight victory.

Davis put in a strong day, pitching eight innings and giving up just one run. He struck out four and allowed just five hits.

Syracuse got all of its runs in the third inning. Pedro Lopez legged out a drag bunt that scored Jorge Velandia to tie the game at one. Later that inning, Lopez scored on a Buck Coats sacrifice fly.

The Chiefs are now 11-7. They'll host Lehigh Valley at 6 p.m. on Monday and 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
