Lazers Eye Three-Peat This Weekend

Lazers Eye Three-Peat This Weekend

By Rishi Barran

The top-ranked Onondaga Community College men's lacrosse team is two wins this weekend away from a third straight national championship.

The Lazers will face the host team, 2nd-ranked Nassau Community College, in the national semifinals at noon on Saturday. If O.C.C. wins, it goes for another national championship on Sunday.

O.C.C. lost its first game in two years earlier this season to Herkimer. But the Lazers avenged that loss last weekend, setting up a shot for another national title.

The Lazers say their proud of their team this season, especially since they don't have some of the superstars who were on the roster the past two seasons.
