SU Gets Hoops Player From Iowa State

Iowa State basketball player Wesley Johnson intends to transfer to Syracuse this season, but will have to sit out the under NCAA transfer rules. Johnson spent two years at Iowa state but announced his decision to transfer in May. He said he picked the Orange after visiting campus this past weekend. Johnson averaged 12 points a game in his first two years at Iowa State. He also connected on nearly 80 3-pointers. As a freshman he made the Big 12's all-rookie team.
