Every morning since Monday, this falcon visits my front yard, looking for the smaller birds that are feeding at the bird feeders. He/she arrives about 8 AM and stays for about 5 minutes.

Hi Gayle, This is either a Sharp-shinned or Cooper's Hawk, but most likely a Sharp-shinned. They are well known for taking advantage of an easy meal at home bird feeding stations. You took two wonderful photos. Enjoy your visitor!
