Last year my 12 yr. old daughter was diagnosed with a very rare kidney/glandular disease requiring much medical treatment and travel to a special hospital. At times when I thought I couldn't handle much more, my mother was there. She helped financially, she cooked dinners when I was tired, and she spent many special times with my daughter easing her fears with shopping trips, baking days, and more. She even took time for my son when I had to be elsewhere easing my feelings of guilt over having to leave him so often. Winning this contest would show her how much I appreciate the sacrifices she has made in this time of need, although, she would not see it as having been a sacrifice. Happy Mother's Day mom!
This is my grandma. She has been such a great grandma ever since I was born. When ever I needed something she was there. When I got sick she would always stay home with me too. We always cook together, shop, and play games. I love you grandma!
Hi Grandma. Your the best! You always spend time with me and have me over to dinner for your great cooking. Thank you for being there when mom has to travel with Taylor when she is sick. You make the time go by fast becasue we have a lot of fun!

I've known both Nancy and her daughter, Lisa, for a long time and agree with what Lisa has written. For Nancy, her children and grandchildren are the most important things in her life and there is no sacrifice too great for her to make for them.
