Location: North of Glenwood springs Colorado

Its September in the Colorado high country at 11'000 feet above sea level, the air is crisp and thin and after hiking six miles from the last drivable road and I set up my camp for the night. Off in the distance the sun is setting with colors like I have never seen before, splashed across the horizon, fortunately I was able to capture the scene with my camera. Its moments like these, in places like this, that reminds me how special this world is, so if you can pull yourself away from the grind of life...take a trip or take a few minutes and look around, think about how this amazing life we live, or better yet, get out there and enjoy it all...because sometimes the best life has to offer is free.
