Montezuma Wildlife Refuge is located about 6 miles west of Auburn on Rt. 20 and is a great place to view many birds right from the seat of your car. May is the best time to visit the center as most ducks and Geese hatch their young and almost all of the wildlife will stick around long enough to allow you to get your shot. Some days we see Bald Eagles, snow Geese, Shoveler ducks, Swans, Teal, Hurons, Wood ducks and even turtles. The list of birds may be near 100.
