Gifford's Pond is a land-locked small body of water, in Oneida County. Only accessible by small boat, from the NYS DEC fishing access site in Westdale, the winding waterway through water lillies and rushes, replete with no sounds other than that of song birds and peepers, makes the access as enchanting as the pond itself. You may not catch a record breaking bass here, but for a true lover of nature, it's the perfect way to spend a lazy spring or summer day.
